This class has several different options for knitting fingerless gloves including:
- knit flat and seamed (the striped ones above)
- knit in the round with a gap for the thumb (the green ones)
- knit in the round with a thumb gusset (the fuzzy ones)
We’ll walk through exactly how to measure your hand and what you need to measure to make a custom pair of mitts just for you.
Of course gauge is super important when designing your own knitting project, so we also spend some time talking about how to knit a swatch flat and in the round and how to measure it and do the math to ensure your mitts will fit.
Honestly it’s really simple math, I promise.
When you know the basics of knitting fingerless gloves that fit, you can change the pattern in all sorts of ways, like stripes, working in different stitch patterns, color blocking and more.
The Rebecca Page Knitting Summit

How the Summit Works
Each day during the summit you’ll receive an email with the day’s classes. At least five classes are offered each day. The classes are videos and will be available for 24 hours.
