Delilah Bon is back (not that she ever left) with a new single, “I Wish A Bitch Would”. This is another song that directs Delilah’s ire at misogynists and those who see it as a good thing to hurt women. This one is probably more political than “Dead Men Don’t Rape”, especially lyrics like “don’t trust anyone, don’t trust the police“. It’s sad that the men this is directed at are unlikely to change, but the way Delilah has put these words into words clarifies yet again that she supports everyone who loves what she does, especially the women and LGBTQ fans, even more than those who have suffered and suffered. . still suffering in an abusive relationship. Delilah Bon uses her voice and position with great skill and eloquence, should at least embarrass or even frighten those in power, though probably would do neither. Such is the nature of the twisted world we live in. The song has a very bassy beat and an eerie synth hook and he spits out the lyrics with passion, and justified anger. Every sound on this track was performed by Delilah and she also produced it. This single and “Dead Men Don’t Rape” have given me great joy and hope for the next Delilah Bon album. Good people in the world, Delilah Bon has your back, make sure you check it out if you haven’t already. Delilah’s mother pointed out that “I Wish A Bitch Would” was released the day British authorities confirmed that Gary Glitter had been released after serving only 8 years of a 16 year sentence for molesting young girls. He has a history of abusing young girls and for me, I agree with the line from “I Wish A Bitch Will” in regards to how Glitter should be treated,”tear every limb from this child molester“. But even if we don’t bring him to that level, he must not be released. But this only proves a dark disease that still exists in our world.
